yoyorecreation (formerly 44re:creation) is a Japanese yo-yo manufacturer founded in 2008 by Kengo Kido and headquartered in Nerima, Tokyo. The company built its reputation on precision-machined 7075 aluminum models engineered for elite competition. Its flagship Draupnir bi-metal became the most competition-winning yo-yo in World YoYo Contest history, while the Sleipnir carries the signature of multiple World 1A Champion Shinya Kido — Kengo’s brother. Hajime Miura’s Autoscopy signature line has supported the most World Championship victories of any individual player in the sport’s history.
The brand organizes 44CLASH, an annual competition in Yokohama running since 2008. Sub-brands include Rebellion (2015, China-manufactured budget line) and YoYoRecreation AE (2017, premium mid-range). yoyorecreation’s standard is IrPad response and Size C bearings across nearly all metal models.
