The Gargantua is an oversized injection-molded plastic designed for 1A play — not 4A offstring, despite its size. It pushes the maximum diameter boundary of competition-legal play, giving 1A players the largest possible catch zone while keeping the throw on-string. Iori Yamaki, one of yoyorecreation’s elite team players, used the Gargantua in his semi-final performance at the 2015 World YoYo Contest, demonstrating that its extreme size was a competitive asset rather than a novelty. A POM variant (POM Gargantua) was released in 2016.
