The Valkyrie was released at the 2015 World YoYo Contest alongside the Seventh Heaven titanium, offering a bi-metal option at a more accessible price point for the Worlds audience. At 55.5mm × 43.5mm and 67g, it sits between the compact Sputnik and the flagship Draupnir — a deliberate middle ground designed to appeal to players not yet committed to the Draupnir’s specific feel. It was later redesigned in a subsequent run.
