The Overdrive is the signature of Ryota Ogi, known for high-speed horizontal and multistyle play. The step-straight profile at 59.5mm × 44mm and a light 64g weight made it equally capable in 1A, 3A, and 5A configurations — a rare versatility for a signature model. It was updated as the New Overdrive in 2013. Ogi would later receive the Overdrive Draupnir (~2021), a full bi-metal signature carrying the Overdrive lineage forward.
