Start the Riot is Rebellion’s first bi-metal model, released in February 2016 as the signature of Yusuke Otsuka. The design uses a 6061 aluminum body — a departure from YYR’s main-line preference for 7075 — with a double inner stainless steel ring construction that embeds two ring sets rather than the single outer rim of the Draupnir. This inner ring geometry, similar to that used in models like the CLYW Chief and Avant Garde 2, produces a different spin character than outer-rim bi-metals. Priced at approximately $140 USD, it demonstrated that the Rebellion line could support competition-grade bi-metal construction at sub-main-line pricing.
