The Porycrash is the result of C3yoyodesign’s expertise in the Crash series (Galaxy Diver, Gamma Crash) combined with PoryKon’s deep knowledge of 5A freehand play. The collaboration produced an H-profile bi-material yo-yo engineered for both 1A string play and 5A counterweight play — optimized for stable spin and comfortable aerial catches during freehand trick sequences.
The Porycrash was produced in two material editions: a POM body version and a polycarbonate body version, both with stainless steel rings. Multi-step cuts in the body reduce weight while rounded rim edges ease 5A hand catches when the yo-yo comes back unpredictably through the air. The diameter is 1.9mm wider than C3’s Galaxy Diver, with a 1.7mm reduction in width — a geometry shaped by PoryKon’s understanding of what makes a yo-yo easier to catch in freehand play. Released July 29, 2020, in six standard colorways. Two special bundled editions paired the Porycrash with a custom PoryKon V counterweight.
