About the Kestrel
The Kestrel is an undersized aluminum monometal released by Chico Yo-Yo Company in 2012, positioned as a spiritual successor to the delToro. Its flat rim and concave side walls create a profile suited to both horizontal and vertical play, with a smooth blast coating enabling finger grinds. A raised axle point assists string alignment, and the response is compatible with flowable silicone. Available in green, red/black, and green/black colorways.
