About the Heavy Hitter 2 SUV
The Heavy Hitter 2 SUV is Sam Ungerer’s signature model for Chico Yo-Yo Company, released in 2012. An evolution of the original Heavy Hitter, it deepens the side steps, rounds the outer rim to reduce string friction, and applies a bead-blasted finish for finger grinds. Slightly lighter than the original at 66.4g, it also features a subtle undercut for inner-ring grinds. The SUV designation references Ungerer’s player handle.
