About the ZRO
The ZRO is Zac Rubino’s signature yo-yo for Chico Yo-Yo Company, released in 2012 as CYYC’s first 4A (off-string) model. Its construction combines an aluminum body with machined Delrin (Celcon/Juracon) plastic rims — a hybrid approach suited to off-string play’s repeated impacts. At 76mm diameter and 80g it meets standard 4A competition specifications. The axle area is shaped for finger grinds during play. The ZRO designation references Rubino’s player handle.
