The Menehune was Buzz-On’s first undersized yoyo. Plastic body with inset aluminum weight rings. The first release had unengraved weight rings, while later releases had engraved weight rings. The Menehune and Element X were the yoyos that introduced the SPR system in Buzz On’s yoyos. Original Menehune used a B sized bearing. Released in 2007, exclusively on YoYoGuy.com. Used an A bearing SPR kit, instead of the B sized SPR.
Menehune Pro
Limited edition version of the Menehune. Recessed SPR with a C bearing and flush mounted weight rings. 250 pieces made in white and black. The original price was $45. The red/orange version below, was featured on Buzz-On’s website. Although it seems they were never released.
