Mike Monty Yoyos
Mike Monty Yoyos is the personal yo-yo brand of Emmett, Idaho player, designer, maker, and teacher Michael “MikeMonty” Montgomery. Montgomery began designing and manufacturing yo-yos through Double-Take Industries around 2010, followed by Montgomery Yo-Yo Company and the 2012 Tinder release, then Burgeon Yo-Yos and its handmade Roots fixed-axle model in 2017.
The MikeMonty name became a yo-yo brand in 2019 with Cambium, a small-batch wooden fixed-axle design. The aluminum Memento followed in 2020, while the convertible GLHF and performance-focused Mori arrived in 2021. Montgomery also helped design the 2013 MonkeyfingeR Design Forte, his signature model. His catalog spans handmade wood yo-yos, beginner-friendly convertible throws, and modern aluminum designs.
