Cambium was the first yo-yo developed under the MikeMonty brand. It was handmade from one solid piece of wood in Cherry and Walnut, with a typical weight between 36 and 40 grams. Its light, fixed-axle construction was especially suited to kickflips and stalls.
The first batch consisted of about nine yo-yos; several were sold and the rest were given away. Mike’s friend Ben supplied the Cambium name, but no company collaboration is documented.
