The Power Spin is a plastic transaxle yo-yo released by Yomega in the mid-1990s. Its modified body shape — similar to the high-end Tom Kuhn SB-2 — places the primary mass towards the rims for faster inertia and increased rim speed. Uses the same Delrin transaxle as the Fireball but in the modified profile. Licensed to Bandai and released in Japan as the Hyper Impulse. A butterfly variant, the Power Spin Wing, was also released exclusively in a Deluxe Pack.
