Released in 1999 at $7 USD, the Turbo Tread was a novelty transaxle yo-yo designed to look like a treaded car tire with a chromed hubcap. The take-apart design used a wooden sleeve transaxle, comparable in construction to ProYo models. The “SY” initials appeared on the face alongside the tire tread detailing. Standard colorway was black body with chrome hubs.
