Sōchí Company was founded in 2018 by Luckey Yulin Li, a five-time Canadian National Champion, and business partner Josef Chung. Building on a reputation for competition-grade strings, bearings, and response pads endorsed by multiple world champions including 2023 World Champion Mir Kim, Sochi expanded into original and collaborative yoyo designs. Their catalog spans dedicated 2A loopers, signature 1A competition throws, and unconventional hybrid designs in partnership with JIGUN, Unparalleled, and the Lab Exploration Program.
