The Robusta is a collaboration between YOYO Barista and Chinese manufacturer Top Yo, released in 2019. Named after Robusta coffee beans, it introduced an innovative “through-structured” bimetal construction in which a dense stainless steel weight ring passes through the 7003 aluminum body and is visible from both the front and side of the yo-yo. This design concentrates mass at the rim for exceptional stability and spin power while maintaining a clean profile. The Robusta received wide Western distribution through YoYoExpert and YoYoSam, bringing YOYO Barista to a global audience.
