The Top EX (“EX” = extreme ultimate) challenges conventional bimetal design by using an oversized stainless steel rim on a lightweight 7003 aluminum inner structure. Rather than the typical approach of adding SS rim weight at the expense of total feel, the design achieves strong rim weighting while maintaining an agile, non-heavy character at 64.5g. The H-profile at 55.69mm × 42.17mm maintains a narrower, more maneuverable width.
