About
The Sonic Spin was a modified-profile, rim-weighted ball-bearing yo-yo released in 1996, priced at $15 USD. The original version featured a Supersonic Transport (SST) airplane silhouette graphic. When British Airways and Air France retired the Concorde in 2003, SuperYo updated the graphic to a stylized globe/atom design — this revised version is sometimes designated the SS II Sonic Spin.
Later packaging noted the IntelliGap adjustable gap system. Dimensions: 61mm diameter, 28mm width, 58g weight.
