Designed with Shinya Kido less than a month before the Japan National contest, the original Krown became one of the best-selling competition yo-yos of all time and launched C3 onto the global stage. Its design philosophy centered on three points: power, stability, and control. The release triggered a wave of Krown variants across the following decade.
