Pocket Pros

Pocket Pros was a yo-yo product line introduced by Razor USA, LLC in 2010. Best known for its Razor scooters, Razor launched Pocket Pros alongside its consumer products as a mass-market yo-yo brand targeting youth retail channels. The lineup ran from a fixed-axle beginner model at $4.99 through an aluminum unresponsive yo-yo (the Zombie) at $19.99 — positioning itself as an accessible entry point into modern string-trick play.

The line included novelty models with real insects and arachnids encased in transparent acrylic (the Creeper and Stinger series), a centrifugal-clutch auto-return model (Boomerang), and intermediate plastic models with proprietary “18K Gold Pro” gold-plated bearings. Pocket Pros sponsored several yo-yo events including the 2010 California State Contest. The line was discontinued around 2011–2012; pocket-pros.com began redirecting to razor.com before the domain eventually lapsed.
