Jake Bullock

From Jake:

“I’ve been yoyoing since 2003. I was a part of Team Anti-Yo from 2006-2009. I never won any major contests but I placed 2nd a lot during my short competitive career (06-08). I won Trick Innovator of the Year alongside Jon Rob for our 5A efforts in 2007. I fell out of the yoyo scene from 2010-2015 but I never stopped yoyoing. In 2016 I came back because Worlds was in Cleveland relatively close to my home for the first time. I reconnected with a lot of old friends. After Worlds 2019 I created my yo-yo instagram (@jakebullockyoyo) and shortly after that decided to try my hand at making the signature yo-yo I never got back in my heyday. My friend Tyler Severance put me in touch with a factory and his designer, CJ Atkinson, and in the midst of the pandemic of 2020 the Dunk was born.

What started as a one-off project that I wasn’t sure would succeed has grown into an entire line of different yo-yos and accessories. I get an immense amount of joy and satisfaction from playing with my own yo-yo and seeing other people all over the world collect and enjoy them. It’s the definition of a dream come true for me.”
