Released in 1997, the Spinboss featured a heat-sensitive plastic body that changed color based on the warmth of the player’s hands — a mood-ring effect applied to a yo-yo. Like the Triple Play, it offered three reconfigurable shapes: Imperial, Butterfly, and Camel. Priced at $10 USD.
String came pre-wrapped three times for beginners; removing wraps increased the difficulty and sleep time. Red caps with blue body was the standard colorway.
