The Guitarist is the three-way collaboration between Rain City Skills, Throws N’ Brews, and ZipLine Strings — the spiritual sequel to the MetalHead, released June 18, 2021 at $59.99 USD. Slightly lighter and more maneuverable than its predecessor while retaining the MetalHead’s power and stability, each standard colorway references a famous guitarist or iconic guitar: Lucille (Black/Gold, BB King), Gibson SG (solid black, Kris Schulz), Frankenstrat (Black/Silver/Red, Eddie Van Halen), and Dimebolt (Black/Blue, Dimebag Darrell). Two exclusive colorways — Hulkenstein and Tainted Love — were released through ZipLine Strings and Throws N’ Brews. ZipLine Strings joined as a third collaborator given Tom Velto’s role as a sponsored ZipLine advocate and his instrumental support in launching the ZipLine brand.
