About
The Draupnir is the cornerstone of the yoyorecreation lineup and arguably the most decorated competition yo-yo ever produced. Named for the Norse mythological ring that multiplies itself every ninth night, it features a 7075 aluminum body with outer stainless steel rims — placing mass at the farthest possible point from the axle to maximize spin time and gyroscopic stability. The prototype was shown in August 2013; full production began 2014.
Team YYR players have used the Draupnir to win more World YoYo Contest titles than any other single model in history. It has been used by Iori Yamaki, Akitoshi Tokubuchi, and numerous other World Champions and finalists. Special editions include 44CLASH contest colorways. The Draupnir has remained in continuous production since its debut and is still available from yoyorecreation’s official store.
