The Protostar (44CLASH Edition) is the 44CLASH × YoYoFactory release for 2014 — a special edition of John Ando’s Protostar from YoYoFactory’s “Death to Metal” series. The polycarbonate/ABS body fitted with aluminum rim rings delivers metal-level stability and spin power at reduced cost and weight. The low edge minimizes sleep loss during play. A 44CLASH special colorway gave event attendees access to one of the most competition-proven bimaterial designs of the era.
