The Triad debuted at Japan Nationals in 2014 and was updated for the 2015 World Yo-Yo Contest (weight raised from 64.9g to 69g, price dropped from ¥7,800 to ¥6,480, engraving redesigned). It was briefly pulled from YoYoExpert for infringing YoYoJam’s Central Rim Weight patent, returning to sale in 2015 after YYR obtained licensing from YoYoJam.
