The Firestorm is a butterfly-profile transaxle yo-yo that became one of Yomega’s most widely distributed products through the McDonald’s Happy Meal promotion in 1999–2000. Its 57.2mm diameter and 54g weight made it comfortable for younger players, and the transaxle bearing provided enough spin time for introductory string tricks. The Happy Meal promotion introduced the Firestorm to millions of children worldwide at the height of the late-1990s yo-yo boom. YoYoJam collaborated on a limited version in 2014.
