About the XLR8
The XLR8 reverses the typical YoYoJam construction formula by using an aluminum alloy body with Delrin plastic rims, concentrating dense metal weight toward the center rather than the edges. This produces a distinct spin character compared to rim-weighted designs. The concave side caps facilitate top-on style spinning tricks. It was premiered at the 2013 World YoYo Contest.
