The Seed is XCube’s final known commercial release, a signature model for Italian player Riccardo “Blanchard” Fraolini developed collaboratively with the Rspecial crew after over a year of prototyping. Described by the brand as “a kind of big La Goutte, with a strong Zeus feeling,” it is the largest-diameter XCube ever produced at 58.65mm and features the widest gap in the lineup at 5mm. Despite its 67.8g weight it plays light and floaty on string. The ceramic flat bearing is standard, with a concave bearing included. Custom anodizing by Morapio in acid-wash and splash colorways. Fraolini left the XCube team shortly after release in March 2014, marking the end of the brand’s active era.
