Type A-1 is a polyester-nylon blend iteration of the Type A formula. It retains the excellent tension-holding properties that made Type A a community favorite but with a noticeably softer, smoother texture that reduces string burn and requires less break-in time. Suitable for both beginners and advanced players. Lasts approximately 1.5–2 weeks with consistent play. An accessible entry point into the premium handmade line without sacrificing performance.
