The Hazmat was the first yoyo from Toxic Strings, designed by owner Evan Evans and machined by One Drop Yo-Yos. Released in March 2012, the Hazmat features a full-sized hybrid H/V-shape profile, a deep cup with a slight inner-grinding ring, and Side Effect axle compatibility. It shipped in black, deep orange, and 50/50 split colorways, with black aluminum spike Side Effects. A portion of Toxic Strings proceeds supported medical expenses for Evan’s son Trevan, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes — the same cause later served by the One Drop x Toxic Strings T1.
