About
The wood•z (with a bullet-point separator) is a collaboration between TMBR (design and manufacture) and ZipLine Strings, a string maker based in Nampa, Idaho. TMBR built the yoyo; ZipLine packaged, branded, and distributed it. The design takes inspiration from the Duncan Pro-Z profile and the aesthetic of TMBR’s own This-A-Way/That-A-Way.
At 55.79mm diameter and 41.05g, the wood•z is smaller and lighter than most TMBR models — designed as a casual EDC (everyday carry) throw rather than a performance-focused piece. Each comes with a commemorative button, sticker, and a length of ZipLine’s signature [kot-n] cotton string. ZipLine recommends 100% cotton string for best response.
B-grade units were sold via ZipLine Strings’s BigCartel store.
