The Sullivan is one of TMBR’s most technically ambitious designs: a yoyo with zero metal components. The body, axle, and all internal threading are wood, using TMBR’s Woodthread Axle System. The reversible halves allow three profile configurations — butterfly (string tricks), imperial (looping), and a “pagoda” orientation described as novelty only. Announced alongside the Moxon in a “Two Innovative New TMBR Yo-Yos” announcement circa 2014.
The 100% wood construction makes the Sullivan unique in the yoyo market. Response and play feel are governed entirely by gap geometry and wood friction.
