About
The Irving is the yoyo that launched TMBR in September 2011 and established the company’s reputation for fixed-axle throws capable of modern string trick play. Named after a Portland neighborhood, it features a flat-rimmed body profile with a tapered string gap and a through-hole on one side for knot tying. Slightly oversized at 59mm for extended spin time. The original production used a simple walnut peg axle; a take-apart version followed shortly after.
Limited-edition runs were produced in exotic woods including zebrawood, purpleheart, and padauk. A 2019 production run was released alongside the Morrow. The Irving remained in the catalog as TMBR’s flagship model throughout the company’s lifespan.
