The Fremont (sometimes spelled “Freemont” in early TMBR marketing) is a classic butterfly-shaped counterpart to the Irving, offering a high-wall profile particularly suited to looping tricks, regenerations, and stalls. Named after another Portland neighborhood, it shares the Irving’s oversized diameter and philosophy but in a rounder, wider form.
The original November 2011 release used a simple fixed walnut peg axle. A 2015 revision introduced the Woodthread Axle System for adjustable gap and take-apart convenience. A 2020 production run continued the model into TMBR’s later era. Available in maple (standard), cherry, and oak.
