About the Serenade
Announced March 12, 2019 on the YoYoExpert forums, the Serenade is Thesis Yoyos’ Colin Nguyen signature model and the breakout product that established the brand as a recognized name in the community. A wide Delrin (POM) body with large round rims delivers spin times that reviewers compared to bi-metal throws. The silky Delrin surface excels at grinds. The wide 49.73mm catch zone “does not feel wide in the hand.” The Serenade arrived in Thesis’s signature premium packaging: an origami-inspired paper insert that elevated unboxing into part of the product experience. Priced at $45, it became Thesis’s most iconic plastic and directly inspired the later Da Capo. A special “Red Crayon” colorway was sold exclusively through the Markmont. shop.
