The Rex is Square Wheels Yoyo Company’s oversized D-bearing throw, released in 2013. The brand positioned it as “the D-bearing yoyo that plays like a C,” challenging the common assumption that D-bearing models offer inferior performance. At 57mm diameter and 68 grams it is significantly larger than the Royale and Rockefeller, delivering tight binds and snappy regenerations. Featured in videos by Spencer Walker and Owen Ekblad.
