Emotion

From YoYoExpert:

“This is Emotion!

Dressel Design’s flagship monometal for 2023! Shortly after the release of the assassin they started thinking of what a more normal sized assassin would look like. They knew 7075 would be the way to go to retain some of that indestructibility that you would get with stainless steel. Dressel also knew they wanted it to be slightly wider and smaller while still sitting firmly in the full sized category.

To achieve the play that they wanted they went with a new style of cup/hub design for them to attain a more even distribution similar to steel. The results? A yoyo that has a fun pacing and play feel that is also controllable and performance focused.

How does it play? Natural and with Emotion!”

Mystery Gift

From Dressel Designs:

“We took the well loved Kanto shape and scaled it up to a full sized yoyo. We also caught a Snorlax with it, so it weighs about 10g heavier for some nice and relaxed play and better stability. We also upgraded to outer rings made with titanium. This became my favorite yoyo for chill relaxing play and really brings me back to the 2010s if you decide to swap a flat bearing into it for even tighter binds.

These debuted as our mystery yoyo for 105$ shipped which is a steal for titanium ringed yoyos. There are only 55 a grades released to the public, and this will never be made again. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.”

Monarch

From Dressel Designs:

“The Monarch is a hybrid yoyo inspired by classic yoyojam models but with modern design cues. It features a Polycarbonate body and Aluminum weight rings. Whether you’re just spreading your wings or ready to rule the stage, Monarch is sure to help you achieve your goals.”

Fusion

The Fusion is a collaboration yo-yo between Damian Puckett and Dressel Designs. It features a comfortable profile shape and the most complex ring design on the market (for its time)! The hanging ring allowed for placement of more rim weight to help create the most powerful and stable yoyo for this shape!

Fusion w/Brass Rings

In June of 2022 Dressel Designs released a version of the Fusion with Brass rings instead of Stainless Steel. This added another 2g to the overall weight of the Fusion.

Kanto

From Dressel Designs:

“Our goal was to take a sub optimal shape for performance, and fuse as much performance into it as we can. It’s been given the nickname “Slimline Draupnir” by those who have been able to try it because of its unique play experience.

To avoid packing on endless rim weight, we decided to design the Kanto around the idea of making the weight, diameter and width add up to 151 as a tribute to the original 151 pokemon, and with 6061 aluminum to make it affordable for everyone. This made us get creative with the shape and design of the yoyo, most specifically with the schmoove groove portion of the profile. A tiny “bump” at the edge of the schmoove acts as another way to reduce tilting friction and keep the string centered with a comfy organic shape that is just so fun to play!”
