The Protagonist is LEAD’s inaugural production yo-yo and the design that introduced the brand to the international competitive community. A compact 55mm diameter paired with a 50mm width delivers high operability and maneuverability for 1A string tricks without sacrificing stability. The bimetal construction — aluminum body with stainless steel rings — provides the weight distribution needed for competitive performance at the rim.
The Protagonist launched through the yoyobox store in 2025 and sold out across all colorways at release. The NYC Edition (Niigata Tournament Special Edition) was the first colorway variant, featuring an ice-blue surface with snowflake logo. All colorways have since sold out with no announced restock.
