The Irony JPX continued the refinement of the Irony JP for Japanese competition freestyle demands. Polished rims, a Dif-E-Yo KonKave bearing, and a concave finger-spin cup were carried over from the 2K13 version. Team rider Yoku Kato was featured in a 2015 promotion video; Brandon Vu appeared in the December 2014 teaser. The negative-cut Irony shape remained the foundation.
