Holgate Toys manufactured a replica of a 1932 Steiff wooden yo-yo, branded for Steiff. According to the Yo-Yo Museum it is not an exact replica: it has a yellow background with a swirl of red dots and letters, while the original has a second swirl in black or dark blue. It came in a black embroidered drawstring pouch with a rubber coaster, and was sold with the North American exclusive Steiff bear ‘Hansel – The Baby Face Bear’ around June 2006. The bear and yo-yo were each limited to 1,500 pieces.
