The Joy-O-Toy is Goody’s beginner-oriented model, distinguished from the Filipino Twirler line by its fixed string — tied directly to the axle rather than looped around it. This means the Joy-O-Toy cannot sleep and returns automatically, making it accessible for young children or first-time players who have not yet learned to throw a sleeping yo-yo.
