About
Announced in September 2014 and used competitively at the 2014 Canadian Nationals before its public release — taking both 1st and 2nd place finishes — the Elysian was Eternal Throw’s most technically refined design to date. Kyle Hedges also used it to win 5A at PNWR 2015.
Its most distinctive element is the cup geometry: an inner divot channels toward the axle hole creating a smooth bowl-like funnel, while a beveled contact point at the fingertip dramatically reduces friction during fingerspins. Early reviewers documented 30+ second sustained fingerspin holds. The steep curved H-profile pushes rim weight outward for max spin time and stability across long combo strings and horizontal play lines. Available in a Seattle Seahawks-themed colorway.
