About the XL
The XL is an aluminum monometal released by Chico Yo-Yo Company in 2011. Its most distinctive feature is its unusual proportions: a 53.3mm diameter matched by a 53.3mm width — making it as wide as it is tall. CYYC described it as “a mutation of the Manimal”; its bell-like shape creates a super-wide catch zone from one side while the small diameter keeps it maneuverable. At 73.4g it is the heaviest model in the CYYC catalog.
