The StormTiger is the 2010 Hyper Yo-Yo version of Yomega’s Raider, released in Japan in November 2010 for the third generation lineup. Its small metal ball bearing (Size K) provides high-speed performance and allows linking of looping tricks with regenerations — the ball bearing sustains spin long enough to chain multiple Loop the Loops. Described as “good for both looping and sleeping tricks,” the StormTiger was endorsed by Top Spinner Ryuji as his go-to looping model. Bearing requires periodic oiling with Hyper Vaseline. A StormTiger Ninteiten SE special certified-store colorway was also released as a collector variant.
