About

The Hyper RB II is a yo-yo manufactured by Yomega and released by Bandai in August 1998 for the first Hyper Yo-Yo line. It is the Hyper Yo-Yo version of Yomega’s RB II — a modified-shape yo-yo without side caps, featuring a metal ball bearing transaxle system. The minimal cap-less profile reduces mass to approximately 44 grams, making it one of the lightest models in the lineup, and its bearing enables considerably longer sleep times than fixed-axle siblings. Intended for looping and general play, it sat at a mid-range price between entry models and the flagship Hyper Raider.
