The 66percent Shutter is an officially licensed scaled-down version of the YoYoFactory Shutter — Gentry Stein’s World Championship-winning throw — reproduced at approximately 37mm diameter in stainless steel. Machined in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo using an NSK micro precision bearing at Size A.
Following an initial release, the model was re-released in 2023 in two colorways: Raw (¥9,900) and Gold (¥11,000). SpinGear recommends concave/center-track bearings and short thin strings to optimize performance at this scale.
