The Grind King is widely cited as the world’s first yo-yo commercially produced from Teflon (PTFE — polytetrafluoroethylene). PTFE has one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid material (0.07), making it ideal for finger grinds, arm grinds, and any trick requiring the string or body to slide along the player’s skin. Dense for its undersized diameter, the Grind King delivers exceptional grinding performance while remaining competitive for standard 1A play. It won 1st place at the 2010 World Yo-Yo Contest Mod Contest (credited as 2011 entry), cementing 3YO3’s back-to-back Mod Contest victories.
