Japan Technology
Japan Technology is a yo-yo manufacturer founded in 2009 by Atsushi Yamada in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, initially specializing in precision-machined Delrin offstring yo-yos for professional 4A competition. The company’s debut model, the Kamui, was revolutionary for being machined from a single block of Delrin — unlike the molded plastic competitors of its era — and established JT as the premier name in high-end offstring design. Over the following decade and a half, JT expanded into string trick aluminum and titanium monometals, bimetals, and a wide range of plastic designs, while maintaining a core identity in performance-driven, competition-grade offstring engineering.
