Big Red Strings is a family-run, handmade yo-yo string manufacturer based in Chico, California, founded in 2025 by a thrower with the surname Herringer. What started as a personal hobby making string for a slower, flowing play style became a small business offering a growing lineup of nylon, polyester, and blend strings made by throwers, for throwers.
